The new Electric Trains are now running along our tracks. Poles have now gone up everywhere these days and enjoying the wide open countryside on our journeys has quickly become lost, only cement and steel rushes past our windows, the view never to be enjoyed naturaly again. While I enjoy the experience Steam Locomotives offer, Diesel Electrics by their very design seem more interesting. Indeed part of this change over has meant saying goodbye to old buildings, old signals, turntables and sidings. What of future railway vehicles I wonder. No one localy seemed interested in saving the past, record the changes to rail, or welcome in the new. Few bystanders at railway stations I think realy understood what I was trying to achieve. Oh well, we cannot make everyone happy all of the time. This is a mix of Railway Photography, Inventions, and Music for you to view. Feel free to keep a copy if you wish for yourself and history.
