From Mike Szabo, Well it’s been 6 years since this music career of mine first began in 2017. Now at 64 I find myself venturing out on the road to take my songs to new towns, venues and most importantly, to new listeners. I have a beautiful studio album of the first ten songs I wrote. ‘Take my Heart’ was produced in my home town of Red Deer Alberta, at Melodious Design Recording. Engineered, produced and mixed for vinyl by the owner and my dear friend, Heath West, we also did two more singles together and are now underway on the sophomore album, due out later in 2024. This past year, working with another very gifted Red Deer musician and producer, Curtis Phagoo, we recorded my EP ‘Rolling Home’ which released Sept 3rd along with the video for ‘Travelling Man’. 2024 looks to be a busy year with new collaborations and projects to explore.
