Estonian Music Week brings some of the finest musicians from northern Europe to Canada with a festival every other year and a Online Concert Series throughout the year. Whether these musicians use the human voice, the piano or the talharpa, they communicate an experience that is uniquely their own. Their sounds manage to be deeply rooted in tradition but also a breath of fresh air. Spread over multiple venues in Hamilton and Toronto, EMW spans a wide range of genres. The intention of the festival and concert series is to introduce Nordic music to Canada's music lovers.
