Emerging Austin-based four-piece band THE VANITY continue exploring new musical ground—retaining their brand of trademark hooks, depth and attitude—on their sophomore four-song indie EP ARE YOU GOING ALONE?. The EP, produced by Kevin Killen (U2, David Bowie, Peter Gabriel) and recorded in Orb Studios in Austin, TX. ARE YOU GOING ALONE? arrives as a follow up to THE VANITY’s debut STRANGERS EP which was “…full of memorable, guitar-driven melodies laced with the frontman’s powerful vocals,” according to DIFFUSER. The band--Alex Dugan (vocals), Mic Vredenburgh (guitar), Augie Gmitter (bass) and David Grayson (drums)--continue out their strong year which included opening for Cold War Kids on a number of dates, performing shows during SXSW and hitting festival stages throughout the summer and moving forward fans can expect to see THE VANITY on the road with BØRNS.
