Autin Dance Theatre is an independent arts organisation established in Birmingham (United Kingdom) since 2013. Under the helm of Director/Choreographer Johnny Autin, the Company is a collaborative and project-based organisation that produces innovative and aspirational artistic performances and provides engaging and extensive learning and participation programmes in the community.
AutinDT’s mission is to inspire, educate and instigate positive social changes by delivering world-class multi-disciplinary arts activities. Since 2013, we have built a strong reputation for our work with highly acclaimed productions including Taksim Square, Pathos, Out of Touch, Dystopia, A Posi+ive Life and more recently Square One and Out of the Deep Blue.
We toured 'A Posi+ive Life' to over 35 UK venues since 2017. In 2018 we successfully premiered 'Queer words' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In 2019 we toured Dystopia extensively to international and outdoor festivals.
