Multiminded work as digital artists (mainly animation and projection design/mapping), and video content producers (producing music promos, awards promos, animating architectural drawings, designing club visuals). The company was founded by filmmaker and development prize-winning screenwriter Fiona Birkbeck. Having worked for many years in Film and TV in London Fiona became an Institute of Digital Innovation fellow (now Digital City) and set up Multiminded. She works with animator/motion graphics, projection designer and music producer Jim Bell. They have a studio in the North East of England in Mushroom Works Studios in the Ouseburn, Newcastle upon Tyne. They also work as designer makers. Because of their passion for music they also create their own DJ nights and have DJd at Lindisfarne Festival for the past six years.
