This is a collection of songs I recorded between 1994 & 1997 by myself using the minimum of recording gear. The Tape decks were a Tascam 38-8, 1/2" 8 track Reel to Reel Tape recorder and a Panasonic SV 3700 DAT machine. I used a Mackie 1602, 16 Channel Mixer with a DBX 160 Comp/Limiter, an Alesis Quadraverb and 2 Yamaha Guitar Effects Processors, one for Direct Guitars and one for Effects i.e.. Reverb, Delay etc. Microphones consisted of a Sony ECM56F Medium Capsule Condenser Mic a Sennheiser MD421 a Shure SM57, I borrowed a Neumann U67 from my friend Tim Ramsey and an RCA 44BX Ribbon Mic from Billy Moss (dec). The Drums are an Alesis SR16 Drum Machine with some live overdubs i.e. Cymbal Swells, Maracas, Cowbell and Snare Drum. The organ is a Hammond X77 w/Leslie, the Accordion is real and all other keys are a Kurzweil EG20 Electric Grand Piano. All of the parts on the recordings were done one part at a time, it took from 12 to 15 hours per song to record.
