Bishop Tonyo is the former diocesan bishop of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente (IFI) in Pagadian City, Philippines. Now in exile in Germany, he serves as Chaplain of St. Catherine’s Anglican Chaplaincy in Stuttgart, Diocese in Europe, Church of England.
He is the founder of FEDE – Filipino Ecumenical Diaspora in Europe and was appointed by the Obispo Maximo, Rhee Timbang, as IFI's ecumenical, pastoral, and liaison officer in Germany and Europe.
