Mr. Casheem Antonio Peart, popularly known as Nine Star, was born in the City of Kingston, Jamaica. He grew up in the community of Jones Town, in his early teens he moved to Morant Bay, St. Thomas. Where he started high school. Where he began to sing in class, at devotions and fair day concerts. Where He realize that he has a gift for singing and a talent for writing. Whilst at high school, Nine Star's aim was to be a great poet. Nine Star then focused on his writing skills. After high school Nine Star began to record songs and writing more, professionally. his first  single "Free My Soul" recorded five years  ago was not released until 2020. Nine Star dubs himself as a Third Generation Reggae/Dancehall Artiste. Nine Star describe his style of music as Dulcet, Conscientious , Modern and Pure.
