I started playing fiddle music at age 3. When I turned 6 years old, I picked up a mandolin and barely put it down. I didn't start playing guitar until around 14, right after I recorded my first EP, "Crooked Mandolin." My senior year project in high school was recording a full length album. Then Covid turned our world upside-down. Luckily, I was able to eventually proceed and "Left It All Behind" was born in early 2021. I've played with many touring bands thanks to the help of Tyler at the Crazy Horse in Nevada City. I booked some solo shows and soon we put together an acoustic bluegrass/ jamgrass trio first dubbed, "Kyle Ledson & Friends," and has now evolved into "Broken Compass." I have also formed a jamband with my roommates at Chico State called, "Cosmic Frog." This Youtube channel is devoted to my musical journey. I'm happy to share some of these amazing experiences with you!
