Shellac Shack Vintage Music is dedicated to vintage music discovery, sharing original recordings from shellac & vinyl 78rpm records from the 1900's thru the 1950's. The goal is to encourage vintage music discovery and present vintage music as a historic document along with context on how each song came to be and how it fits into the history of music. The channel features carefully transferred vintage and historic music from a large variety of genres from the first half of the 20th century . There may even be the occasional oddball thrown in for fun. All recordings come from a personal collection of over 3000 original 78 rpm records ensuring you get the original authentic sound straight form the source. The transfers are made as faithfully as possible, balancing listenability and originality. There may still be surface noise and imperfections, but that's all part of the charm!
