The American Computer Enthusiast television show was produced live in Houston, Texas. It was a computer help show on the Houston Public Access Channel starting in the 1990s. We had a phone number available for people to call in during the show and ask questions. Throughout the years that I hosted the show, it won numerous awards for the Best Show on the Houston Access TV Channel.
The Computer Workshop was a one hour show aired on PBS in the mid-1990's. It was shot in the KUHT PBS studio in Houston, TX and was broadcast live coast to coast on Saturdays across the US. We would pre-shoot small "snippets" called the Lighter Byte to break the show up and give us times to change the set and/or take a quick break. The hosts were Dean Crutchfield and Steve Reeves.
