ASIFA-South is a not-for-profit association that promotes the art of animation through screenings, professional networking, education, research, and community outreach. Established in France in 1960, ASIFA began as one local member organization for animators. We are one of the now over 50 chapters around the world offering screenings, educational programs, job resources, and networking events for enthusiasts, aspiring creatives, and professional creatives in all fields related to animation production. Our local organization includes Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia. The Southeastern US chapter of ASIFA is dedicated to artist visibility, global community, support of STEAM education, entrepreneurship education for artists, promoting diversity, and to promoting inclusion within our local animation industry and internationally.
