The Bidar canoe competition is a competition for speed and dexterity in rowing Bidar boats. Bidar boats are special boats ranging in length from 13 – 30 meters and rowed by more than 8 - 50 people. This competition is a traditional rowing art from various places in Indonesia starting from Palembang, South Sumatra, Kapuas Hulu, Sintang, Sanggau, Sekadau, Landak, Kubu Raya, Pontianak, Mempawah, Sambas West Kalimantan which generally competes on the Kapuas River, bidar canoes are also very popular.
