ITAI is a saxophonist, producer, and community builder… Based in Los Angeles, ITAI founded The Residency - Sound Connections, now at The Zula Den, a weekly series designed for face‑to‑face collaboration (“swanning”), with the audience gathered 360° around the music. Drawing on Middle Eastern roots, jazz lineage, and years on dancefloors worldwide, his sets are performed live-sax, keys, loopers, and drum machines woven into deep, hypnotic grooves. Through Itai & Friends he connects scenes globally, inviting guests such as Evan Hatfield, Yasmine Azaiez, Le Président, iorie, and Pato Banton into one‑night‑only dialogues. Releases include work on trndmsk, Camel Riders, Talavera and more; earlier, “Roderic feat. ITAI - Metamorphosis” reached #1 on Beatport charts.
