I am a singer and songwriter interested in exploring both traditional and new-age composition methods. I strive to bring a new dimension of soundscape to my audience. I am also a collector of stories and songs from the numerous Adivasi cultures (indigenous communities) in India.
As a sound arts practitioner and composer, I'm interested in ecological transformation, field recording, sound arts, acoustic ecology, soundscape composition, critical sound studies and ethnomusicology. I am interested in developing artistic works to enhance the awareness, dialogue and action relating to the preservation of endangered environments and climate change. I have completed an MA in Composition and Creative Music Practice from the University of Limerick, Ireland. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD (Fine Art) at RMIT University, Melbourne.
Here, you'll find a variety of materials including songs, experimental music, sound research, field recordings and insights into environmental sound and ecology.
