Mark Brian Kimera, professionally known as Mark BK, is a passionate dancehall and reggae gospel musician whose life and music are deeply rooted in faith, purpose, and perseverance. He was raised in Lubowa, Bunamwaya (Wakiso District) by his loving mother Ms. Maria Muwonge and his father Mr. George William Kimera, Mark BK began his education at Kawoko Primary School, later joining Masaka Secondary School and City View Secondary School for his O and A Levels. He further pursued his calling through Goal Technical College, Reformed Theological College, and the International School of Ministry (ISOM)—a journey that strengthened both his skill and his spiritual depth. From a very young age, Mark BK discovered his God-given talent. He began singing and performing during school presentations and church services, where his gift quickly became evident. His deep love for Christ led him to serve faithfully as a singer and instrumentalist, using music not just as art, but as ministry.
