“Aquarium”, another Mifal HaPais cultural project, provides an intimate stage for musicians that allows audiences to enjoy unique free performances and that converges into an archive of all forms of Israeli music. The performances are filmed in the offices of HaPais Council for the Culture and Arts , a unique and charming space that had been Tel-Aviv’s first cinematheque that has since been purposefully renovated into a site that encourages and promotes artistic creation. Mifal HaPais Aquarium hosts both prominent veteran artists and young creators and artists at the start of their careers who are given a platform to perform their music in a new or experimental manner, gain experience in original performances, and create musical connections that are only possible in this type of format.
