Gian van Eiker, known as GIAN, is an artist from Curaçao who has a strong love for culture, art, and expression. Born and raised on the island, his art has been deeply influenced by Curaçao’s rich culture.
GIAN is both an actor and a musician. For him, art is a way to express himself and do what he enjoys most. He has performed in many theater productions in Curaçao. In 2024, he moved to the Netherlands to study further in acting.
His music is inspired by traditional styles from Curaçao, like Sèu, Tumba, and Ritmo Kombiná. However, he also creates music in different genres to keep his sound diverse and appealing to multiple audiences. His goal is to make a career combining his musical talent with the theatrical side of things and create performances that tackle real world problems and feel relatable.
