In the following series you join me as I learn about machining & machine shop practices. I go from no experience or back ground in machining to grow and develop my skills. I’ll be advised by 2 journeyman machinist who will be guiding me through builds as well as teaching me how to effectively & safely machine. Learn about and discuss proper machine shop practices & technique. As I acquire more tooling and instruments, I'll examine how to use them & apply them to different projects & builds. I will have an opportunity to explore & resurrect manual machining techniques lost or rarely found in the modern machine shop. These techniques enabled past machinist to get more from their equipment & provide proven solutions to complicated machine operations.
