Wajahat S. Khan is an Emmy-nominated journalist, author, and strategic communications executive whose two-decade career spans NBC News, the Atlantic Council, Columbia Journalism School, and the Harvard Kennedy School. As former NBC News Bureau Chief for South Asia, he led coverage from Islamabad, Kabul, London, and New York. As Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council's South Asia Center, he advised senior institutional leadership on regional policy and produced research distributed to U.S. government stakeholders. He is the co-author of Game Changer: Being Shahid Afridi (HarperCollins, 2019), an international bestseller, and the founder of Mahaaz, one of YouTube's most-watched South Asian livestreams with six million monthly viewers. As Founder and CEO of Pak Futures Foundation, he produced the inaugural Ivy Future of Pakistan Conference at Yale University in 2025 — recognized as Yale's Asian American Cultural Program of the Year — and another conference at Georgetown the same year.
