Dr Rita Jairath is one of the pioneering athletes in women’s bodybuilding from India. Winning the prestigious Pro-Card from the International Federation of Bodybuilding. She has various National and International bodybuilding accolades under her belt. She is also an IFBB Pro-League International Judge and a part of the Judging Panel at the highest level in international shows. First woman from India to compete in Arnold Classic, First woman from India to ever compete in Amateur Olympia.
While she has contributed to the growth of the fitness industry especially women’s fitness, she has also dedicated her life towards her child, who is now 31 years old and challenged with autism. She wishes she is able to inspire people who are struggling with their battles and challenges. She has been conferred with the title of World Peace Ambassador by the Wockhardt Foundation affiliated with the United Nations.
