Phoenix Lights, established in 2013 by Sandra Spaceflower Zovko, quickly found its unique voice with the addition of Laurens Voois on guitar in September of the same year. Through their decade of artistic collaboration and exploration, Phoenix Lights reached a pinnacle with the creation of 'Mirror' and 'Norah Black'. This creative zenith marked a turning point, as they subsequently decided in 2023 to explore their individual artistic paths.
Sandra Spaceflower, the cornerstone of Phoenix Lights, is not only the founder but also the primary songwriter and composer. Her music is a rich blend of influences from progressive rock, pop, and classical genres. Renowned for crafting unusual compositions, Sandra's creations are marked by melodious motifs and dynamic contrasts. Each piece she composes is a story in itself, woven into a larger narrative, connected to the next through an invisible, yet tangible, thread.
