Chad Wesselkamper, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, is a professional bassist (upright & electric), composer, producer, and audio engineer, living in Houston, Texas. Chad studied orchestral performance at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music. He performs music of all genres and has toured the world performing in Korea, Europe, and all across the United States. Chad performed at Carnegie Hall three times before the age of 18, and has been awarded artist positions in the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival, Aspen Music Festival, National Youth Orchestra of USA, Houston Jazz Festival, Contemporary Performance Institute, and many more.
