Who are we The Home'ster banner is a division of “ Enterprises Bastech (2014) Inc.” located in the Regional Municipality of Tracadie in northeastern New Brunswick. The company has over 30 employees and offers its services throughout North America. Home'ster specializes in the design, sale and distribution of artificial coastal reefs that provide habitat for multiple marine species including lobster. What is an artificial coastal reef An artificial coastal reef is a specially shaped concrete block designed to provide safe shelter for important seabed species such as lobsters. Reefs have a very positive impact on the ecosystem as they provide a diverse habitat for many species and support marine biodiversity. The principle is simple: micro-organisms first colonize the reef, lobsters then come to feed, shelter and reproduce.
