Backpacks 4 VIC Kids is a registered not-for-profit charity with DGR status, determined to make a difference in the world. Often children, who are at risk in their family homes due to things such as family violence, are placed quickly into out of home care, or secure facilities without much more than what they are wearing at their time of displacement. At Backpacks 4 VIC Kids, we provide quality filled emergency care packages in the form of My Essentials (ME) Packs to vulnerable children, aged birth to seventeen, who are displaced in Victoria and Tasmania.
