DJ RT is one of the hardest working producers I have had the pleasure of working with and it is working with people like him that made me want to work within the music industry; this is clearly a man who’s on top of his game and his music and influence will no doubt change a scene that has now been completely saturated with seemingly samey, commercial, recycled rubbish. I first heard Matt’s remix of Audion’s “A Bit Closer to Heaven”, and after trying to promote it as best as I could I signed him to my label. Knowing the level of quality and self-criticism he has when it comes to his own music, I know that this guy is going to leave a hell of a mark on the UK music scene, and it’s about time. I knew a man with this talent isn’t going to want to stay signed to a label; this is clearly a man who is interested in the business side of the music scene rather than tying himself to strictly producing or strictly DJ’ing.
