Farida Nelson possesses a Master degree in Piano Performance. She has over 18 years of professional musical experience as a music teacher, performer, recording musician, singer, songwriter, and arranger. In 2002 Farida took 2nd place in Piano Performance in Schubert’s Club Competition in St. Paul, MN. In 2004 her single “Sonsuz Yol” remained first in the top 10 music videos for over two weeks on “M1” Music TV Channel. She was also a finalist of Azerbaijan National Final for EUROVISION Song Contest in 2008 and 2010, as well as a finalist of NEW WAVE Song Contest in 2010, which was held in Yurmala, Latvia. “My goal as a teacher is to inspire my students just as I was inspired by my teachers” - Farida Nelson.
