This channel contains student speeches from my online 2007 Public Speaking class. The students were instructed to each memorize a storied speech from a watershed time in history and deliver it looking into the camera. They uploaded their videos to this channel and have received laudatory comments from people all walks of life. To date, the channel has over 70,000 views. This was an experiment to see the reaction of a "public" youtube audience vs an in-person audience.
