Sphamandla Hlabisa, professionally known as DJ Sphakzin, is based in KwaHlabisa, Kwazulu-Natal, Mtubatuba. I embarked on my music journey as a DJ in high school in 2007. I served as a resident DJ at 24/Sportbar, Mzithosi Sport Bar, uMgosi Lounge, and eMhlanga drive-in. Currently, I work as a DJ at 'Lulu's BnB Lounge' in Kwa-Msane Township weekly. I am consistently honing my skills as a DJ and a producer to evolve into a better version of myself every day. MUSIC INFO: I initiated my DJing career inspired by DJ Tira, who hails from my hometown, and also by DJ Black Coffee. Subsequently, I diversified my skills to play various genres. My DJ sets currently encompass Afro House, Gqomu, and Electro House. However, I'm open to playing Deep House, Hip Hop, and Rhythm & Blues (RnB) music. With a wide range of music in my collection, I can set the right mood based on the venue I am performing at.
