The mission of NUBS (a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization) is to promote resiliency in children through the inspirational stories of rescued animals who have bravely given life a second chance. Our page and non-profit organization is named for Nubs: a handicapped parakeet who was rescued with almost 400 other birds from the home of an animal hoarder. The story of his rescue, as well as the other animals who live with him in his new home, demonstrates to children not to give up hope, as all beings deserve, and can find, happiness, regardless of background, history, or challenges. We hope you will enjoy the many happy moments of the animals who live in the House of Nubs!
