The official Youtube Channel for the Greater Manchester Fringe Festival 1-31 July. The Greater Manchester Fringe first took place in 2012 with six different venues and a handful of shows in each. Now in it's seventh year GMFringe has more than 30 venues across Greater Manchester participating and hundreds of performances taking place, encouraging first time participation in arts production and performances across Greater Manchester. Free and low-cost tickets for all performances, providing greater access to a non-traditional theatre-going audience. In the first three years of the festival, we have had on average 60% first-time performers / producers. Past productions have moved onto Bolton Octagon and HOME theatres, Re:Play and Push festivals, Camden and Edinburgh Fringes, national and international tours - and won Manchester Theatre Awards.
