Having written songs for some of the UK’s biggest musical talent, Ava Lily is now ready to step into the spotlight, sharing her music and coming into her own as an artist like she never has before. Originally from Bristol and now based in London, Lily has been writing music and playing piano since childhood, using songwriting as a way to express emotions that would otherwise be bottled in. After being discovered by Naughty Boy from her cover of ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’, Lily was signed to Virgin EMI and began writing for the likes of ZAYN as well as collaborating with Emeli Sande and James Arthur. Through that process, Lily continued to hone her craft and develop an even deeper respect for the complex art of songwriting- and ultimately decided that she both wanted and needed to tell those stories as an artist herself.
