My husband had just started learning how to play the ukulele when we went to Costa Teguise in Lanzarote September 2014. As a beginner with great trepidation he played at Tekkers in Costa Teguise where he was encouraged by Spence and his wife Gill who ran the jamming sessions every Friday early evening. So I set up a YouTube Channel for these sessions which are sheilasvideolibrary@sheilasvideolibrary6099 Subsequently my husband set up a band in England called The Flukes who played at nursing homes to raise money for Alzheimers. I have recorded these sessions along with holiday memories on my SheilaPritchard@sheilacreatesmemories channel. I hope that these videos are inspirational for anyone of retirement age who want to learn how to play an instrument. Also I hope that the holiday videos are something to relax and enjoy.
