Georgie Wells is a singer-songwriter, composer, musician who lives and breathes music. An active member of the London music scene, gigging, running jazz jams and open mics, the pandemic has changed her trajectory from a gigging musician to a recording artist, with 2 upcoming releases this summer, and 3 more this autumn. Georgie confesses to being a real music nerd, geeking out over clever chord progressions, killer basslines, and pop hooks, the balance of expected and unexpected. She applying this to her own music, combining it with humorous, unapologetically honest and heartfelt lyrics. She enjoys the freedom to make a wide range of music, making it difficult to pigeon-hole her. Recently, Georgie has been focusing on creating “fun” music to dance to and sing along loudly! Georgie has an academic background in jazz and classical music, both composition and singing. Professionally she makes music for the sync industry, where she composes and records music for TV, film and adverts.
