This young lad whose favourite subject in school was music, whose favourite hobby was to sing and play instruments, his passion was to make his own compositions…….and all this at the age of 6 onwards.Born on 14th December, to an immensely talented and artistically inclined family. He is the eldest son of the world renowned sitarist Ustad Rais Khan Saab. His mother, Tasneem Khan was a hugely appreciated dancer, who was formally trained in two forms of dance – Kathak (under Shri Gopi Krishnaji) and Bharatnatyam (from famous actress Vijayantimalaji). She also learned to play the sitar. His brother, Cezanne Khan is a popular television star known for his wide body of work on small screen. He started his journey humbly and never used his lineage for support. Though he was scorned by many critics in the beginning, it did not deter him from pursuing his goal. He stayed focused. In his rollercoaster career of 20 + years, he did jingles, songs, played in concerts – private and public, shows.
