Convoco - To call together, convene / Con Voco - With voice
Convoco is a professional choral ensemble based in the Philadelphia/NYC region that specializes in early music, music of living composers, and multimedia collaboration. This project-based initiative between a collective of musicians began through creation of virtual ensemble content at a time in 2020 when singers were unable to assemble in person due to COVID-19. These musicians desired to connect virtually and use their voices to create something beautiful at a time when professional gigs and live concerts weren't happening. The project further developed in 2022 in England during St. Paul's Chestnut Hill (Philadelphia) residencies at Exeter/Southwark Cathedrals.
