My musical journey began in 1964 when my sister Helen started a fan club for a band she liked — just in case they became famous. They did.
Ray Brown & the Whispers went to No.1 with their first single, followed by three more, and 61 years later the friendships are still going strong.
Growing up around music meant meeting many Australian and international artists as they toured. Along the way I met The Twilights, Russell Morris (thanks to Ian “Molly” Meldrum), Easybeats, Billy Thorpe & the original Aztecs, and unforgettable artists like Roy Orbison, The Who, Tom Jones, Cilla Black and more.
These days I focus on capturing live music closer to home. Huge thanks to Frank Sultana for welcoming me into his shows and for bringing great artists to town through Blues Bash and Blues with a View, and to Finding Fillmore’s for the brilliant music, food and atmosphere.
This channel is my front-row seat… and you’re invited.
