Note-Able Music Therapy Services is a nonprofit organization in Reno, Nevada, that provides music and music therapy services to people of all ages and abilities. The Note-Ables is the professional band that represents our organization. Made up of adults with disabilities, the band plays more than 40 gigs a year throughout northern Nevada. All of our programs are grounded in the philosophy that participating in music - expressing oneself through making sound - is both liberating and empowering for those who traditionally have had no voice in our society. We are proud to say that Note-Able Music Therapy Services enhances the lives of those who face so many barriers to community inclusion - and improves the quality of life for all of us.
