This independent inquiry was established in January 2021 by the Governor of the British Virgin Islands. Its purpose is to review the Territory’s governance and make recommendations for improvement. On the COI's website (bvi.public-inquiry.uk/) you can find out more about the inquiry and how to get involved. Any information submitted through this website will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed outside the Inquiry team without your prior consent. Going forward, wherever possible, COI hearings will be conducted in public. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the public will not be able to attend hearings in person, but they will be lived streamed via this dedicated COI YouTube channel.
