Rockmeamodeo(now Amo Deo) features the original and cover music of Chris Amodeo, a songwriter/singer living in Laguna Beach Ca. A child of the 70’s steeped in that decades wide range of music, it’s no surprise that his music takes on a modern 70’s vibe with classic/folk/pop/rock/storytelling idioms. He has two studio albums available on most platforms: 2010’s debut album Homo Luminous, another full length album in ‘22 CrazyBadLoveYou and now a new ‘24 EP Before I Sleep. “Songs and songwriting are sometimes diluted by analysis…I love and loathe the risk of subjectivity…and, that’s just how it is, people either connect to a song or they don’t. The artist’s path is a compulsion and an obsession. I prefer walking that path. Amodeo’s been in private practice as a Rolfer for 35 years and going(he freely admits he’s much better at Rolfing), and has been a working voiceover artist since 2007.
