Live Music Is, 365 Artists in 365 Days I believe in the notion that music is powerful and can influence our thoughts and actions. I am inspired by live music; musicians who create and perform their songs, venue staff who work tirelessly to provide a place for music to happen, and the craft of capturing a live performance both sonically and visually. A motivation for the challenge is to connect with artists: hear their story, record a few songs, and share the experience. Another motivation is the opportunity to bridge the creative process with social consciousness. Some of the interviews will focus on social issues that influence the song writing process. Today is January 7th, 2014 and I have to say that the journey of interviewing over 200 musicians in 2012 was inspiring indeed. I will get back to editing and posting the remaining interviews.
