Freedom Fly is Siwei - artist, musician and visionary. Known for her intuitive powers and creative authenticity, Siwei is a highly active musician operating within Melbourne and Australia-wide. Her first solo show 'Freedom Fly Takes Off' premieres this coming April 2024, a powerful performance combo of original songwriting, keyboards, harp and poetry. Siwei has been performing, touring and recording for many notable bands and artists both as a keyboardist and harpist for many years, including at renowned festivals Ubud Jazz Festival (Bali), MONA FOMA, WOMADedlaide, Port Fairy Folk Festival, Melbourne Music Week and White Night. Major performance credits include: Harpist for Melbourne Opera performing 3 complete sets of Wagner's Ring Cycle (2023), Principal Keyboardist for the Kutcha Edwards 'Circling Time - Songs & Stories' regional VIC tour, performing and recording for artists Rainbow Chan, Marley del Prete, Sandy Hsu, Happy Axe, Amla Periakarpan, and Oscar Key Sung.
