Charissa Sanjarernsuithikul (Splicegirl Productions) is a TV editor and short film director who has worked alongside powerhouse showrunners Greg Berlanti, Kevin Williamson, Shonda Rhimes, Allan Heinberg and Aaron Sorkin. With a 15 year career in Post Production, her editing credits include "The Following," "Designated Survivor" and "The Rookie."
Last year, Charissa directed and executive produced a short film, "Playing It Straight," a lighthearted dramedy about a guy who deep dives into his family dynamics on a 2nd date. Through comedic flashbacks we learn of his unconventional upbringing with his two closeted lesbian mothers. "Playing It Straight" was an official selection of the 2018 "Cinequest Film & VR Festival" in Silicon Valley. Her short film submission rendered her a Finalist in the 2018-2020 Disney|ABC Directing Program and she is currently a participant in the 2018 Sony Pictures Television Diverse Directors Program.
