Founded in 1891, Lenoir-Rhyne University is a co-educational, private institution with 45 undergraduate degree programs and over 20 graduate degree programs. With a 15:1 student-to-faculty ratio, LR enrolls more than 2,700 undergraduate and graduate students and awards more than $30 million in merit scholarships with 100 percent of our students receiving financial aid. LR’s main campus is located in Hickory, North Carolina, where both undergraduate and graduate degrees are offered. The university also offers graduate centers in Asheville, North Carolina and Columbia, South Carolina.
