Smoke & Mirrors is an original Rock & Roll band influenced by Blues, Grunge and Heavy Metal. In the fall of 2009, Smoke & Mirrors was formed by the joining of KC Jones (Lead Vocals / Lead Guitar) and Incrucible's experienced rhythm section of Justin Von Rueden (Bass) and Benjamin Leff (Drums). In 2011, the band released a 4-track EP titled Gates of Hell. The disc featured drumming that belittles thunder, bass lines driving grooves straight out of hell, epic guitar solos and heartbreaking vocals. Frequented Twin Cities venues include Station 4 (Saint Paul) and First Avenue's 7th St. Entry (Minneapolis). Early 2012 they recruited the highly stage experienced Joel Jay as a full time rhythm guitarist. The following summer they played The Ror Schach Resurrection Music Festival (Park Rapids, MN) and made the front page of the local newspaper. Signing with new management and releasing a new single in 2013, Smoke & Mirrors will prove the future holds plans for their success.
