Christopher Alpiar, Quincy Jones Award-winning Jazz composer, saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, producer and studio owner. His specialization as a performer is in the Jazz, free-Jazz and Avant-garde Jazz idioms, but he is "...in love with every form of music made by humans". In audio production, his specialty is as a recordist; flawlessly recording live or tracked ensembles & bands at his 50+ channel Universal Audio based world-class recording studio: SUN SHIP STUDIOS, in Snellville, GA USA, about 30 min E. of Atlanta. Our main setup is a 5 piece, 26-core Universal Audio rig on an 12-core Mac Pro. Gear like: SSL, Neve, Neumann, AKG, AEA, BAE, MPC, etc. Top plugs from UAD, Brainworx, Waves, Native Instr., PSPAudio, etc. DAWS available include Cubase pro 11, Pro Tools, Digital Performer, Harrison Mix-bus, Ableton Live, Sibelius, Finale, Notion.
