Bells started with Jon and Sean in 2005 after Jon left metal band, August Burns Red. He and Sean played together for years in lots of projects. In 2010, Sean left This or the Apocalypse to seriously pursue music with Jon, which is when Bells was born. Jon and Sean asked close friend Tim to join, and they wrote and recorded their cover of August Burns Red's "Pangaea" which was included on the deluxe edition of the album "Leveler". In the months following the release of Leveler, Bells started writing and recording what would become Our Forest Our Empire at Sean's Studio in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. They were joined by former This or the Apocalypse drummer Toby and good friend Joe. Bells is still making noise, and being loud, and sometimes we even release new music. Keep your ears open!
