Jethro's Belt is a Cartoon Band out of Dallas Texas. The band was Formerly known as Jack Bobby and the Bobby Jack Brothers Band. Consisting of Jack (vocals/guitar),and Jed(drums) Bobby, And the The Jackson Brothers Rufus (bass),and Dwayne(guitar). They Played in the bars for several years. At the peak of their mediocre success Following their "Dive Bar Superstar Tour" they decided to pursue a heavier style if music, and adopted the name Jethro's Belt. Some Suggest the name comes from a metaphor of Using what you've Got on hand to do a job. Others have said, It came about one night while singer/songwriter Jack Bobby was Hammered on whiskey, insisting that the constellation of Orion was actually called Jethro's Belt. Which could be true since it appears in the sky on their debut album Jethro's Belt.
