Frieze is a live surtitling and subtitling application for theater, opera, and movie screenings. It allows users to create, edit, and run multilingual text.
Frieze uses external timecode and OSC integration to synchronize and trigger cues from external sources like QLab or Resolume. It supports MCP integration, which allows external AI tools to connect directly to the app to modify, translate, and analyze content.
The software includes advanced surface mapping and an integrated video player with a surface overlay for timecode sync adjustments and visual previews. It also provides NDI output for flexible video distribution.
